Do you share a commitment to healthy aging, community building, and fun? Consider volunteering with Sound Steps!
Sound Steps has year-round volunteer opportunities for adults.
Positions that are currently available:
- Spring Training Walk Leader: Help plan and lead training walks from February through June in our 10K or half marathon training program. Responsibilities include attending a planning meeting, providing special event support, attending Saturday group walks as available, recording attendance, mentoring service-learning students, and encouraging participants to continue taking steps toward their goals!
- Outreach Specialist: Do you belong to a church, book club, senior center, or other community group? Spread awareness about our programs so that no adult is left inside when they could be out walking with Sound Steps!
- Van Driver: Receive training to drive a City vehicle and attend field trips, like Sound Steps hikes or a trip to the Seattle Symphony, at no cost!
- Weekly Walk Leader: Would you like to lead a walk in your neighborhood, a favorite park, or out of your senior or community center? Sound Steps can help you get started!
